Oh! To be a flower
Nodding in the sun,
Bending, then upspringing
As the breezes run;
A scent-brimmed cup,
Full of summer’s fragrance to the summer sun.
These are more flowers which I shot in Maharashtra nature park. The park is wild enough to be beautiful but there were hardly any flowers. I hope many such parks are set up in the city, now that all the trees are already cut down for residential purposes. It’s the least they could do.
Abstract photography: Focus
Being focused on your goals is always cherished as a virtue. Sadly, I’ve to admit here, one which I never possessed. I tend to distract easily and need someone to whisper the mantra in my ears,’ concentrate babes’.
Recently, I read a lot of moral stories which repeated how important it was to focus on your goals to be successful. I was so inspired that I had to practise it somewhere. Since, it was not easy in real life I decided to try it in photography. I realized that when you completely focus on something, then everything else goes out of focus. Like this, click to tweet.
You don’t just have to learn to focus in life, the amount is also important. Otherwise, you might reach your goals and lose everything else in the process. As for me, I’ll have to try meditation.
The earth laughs in flowers.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
I love flowers. Who doesn’t? The point is I love flowers so much that I took this photograph in Maharashtra nature park, when I was supposed to be chasing butterflies. Needless to say, I spent the morning marveling the flowers and missed to take shots of many beautiful butterflies. Too late I realized, the flowers remain stationary throughout the day whereas butterflies don’t.
I still maintain it was right to wonder around flowers. After all, they were the reason, the butterflies visited the park.
The sea is the same as it had been since before men ever went on it in boats.

This is one of the older photographs I took when I visited Owalekarwadi butterfly park. The butterfly was more beautiful which isn’t I have captured well. If you have ever tried shooting butterflies you’d know it’s really hard to get a shot. They tend to keep flitting from flower to flower. Since, they don’t have any patience you need to have lots of it.
