The dull walls of Thane have become vibrant, and lively. The new TMC initiative “Paint walls, beautify city” has brought together artists to paint murals depicting nature, history, and culture on the walls of the city. The beautiful murals around the city walls have added a much-needed artistic touch to the bland concrete jungle.

Surely a beautiful way to keep it bright and clean too…nice photos 🙂
Thanks Shweta 🙂
This is a very good initiative to engage people in beautifying the city. Such paintings on walls lend a character to the city, and build a sense of community, Recently a friend of mine went with her two daughters to paint Ghatkopar station.
I agree Somali 🙂 Involving people creates a sense of attachment along with beautifying the city.
Such a fun activity to do with kids 🙂
It’s a great initiative. Delhi has such kind of artwork in many places. It takes away the blandness and makes a place vibrant.
Didn’t know this about Delhi. They do make the place vibrant.
Thanks Saru 🙂

What does the acronym TMC stand for?
Thanks Maniparna 🙂
TMC stands for Thane Municipal Corporation.
That’s a great initiative. I hope care to leave them there as such for generations to see!
I hope so too 🙂
