Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.
It turns out that I have been nominated by not one, but two bloggers for this challenge. Only WordPress has this tendency of classifying some of my genuine comments as Spam, so I missed the comment.
To compensate for missing out the blogger’s tag on day one, I’ll post two quotes today. Since, I love quotes, this works very well for me. 🙂
“Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.”
– Helen Keller
“The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure , the process is its own reward.”
Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies. -Mother Teresa.
How often we concentrate on the big picture, yet forget that it is the small things that make the picture? A gentle smile, and a caring heart makes all the difference. None of the worldly achievements matter. People might praise you for your success, but love can be attained only by compassion.
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.
