“If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.”
-Henry David Thoreau
This is one quote which inspires us to dream, and at the same time roots us to reality. After all, it’s only hard work which converts dreams to reality.
Henry David Thoreau was an author, poet, and philosopher. His essay “resistance to civil government”(known popularly as civil disobedience) inspired Mahatma Gandhi’s civil disobedience movement.
My blogger friend Somali tagged me with this amazing challenge – 3 days quote challenge.

Love the way you’ve explained it. 🙂 Hard work and the desire to touch the sky are the foundations of success… 🙂
Thanks Maniparna. They are indeed the foundation of success. 🙂
Hope you had a great day!
Lovely! Just like the castles, up in the air have to be supported by strong foundations, our high aspirations need the support of hard work.
So true, Somali. without hard work, our aspirations are hopeless.
Thanks, and have a great day!
